Howdy Folks!
The biggest news this summer for me is that I'm getting married August 13th to my sweetheart, Miss Emilee Freie. (Just after the garden show) Emilee and I share many interests, including natural living and historic crafts and gardening, and after our August honeymoon we will be set up with a large produce display from September 14 through October 28 at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. If you're in the area, stop by and say hello!
I guess you can tell I'm going to have a busy and
wonderful summer. We hope to see many
of you at our Heirloom Show and at Silver Dollar City.
Take Care and God Bless!
Jere

Is this the same Emilee Freie who is associated with the Homeschool Legal Defense Association, and writes in a CHristian magazine?

Hey Jere; You were born in 1980-YOU ARE NOT A HIPPIE! Also Hippies do Not shop at Health Food stores because they do not accept Food Stamps. You look more like a Goth.If you get tired of being a Poser,You could buy some Baggy pants and pretend your'e Black.-

I imagined you as a combination of a neo-hippie and a hick/cowboy. Mostly because of the type of vocabulary used in the catalog and other publications. I don't know who else is writing those, though.

I am sooo happy for both of you! I had a "feeling" when I saw you both at the Spring fest! You both look so "in love"!" Sounds like the two of you were made for each other. She is a very beautiful lady, make sure you treat her right!!!
Best wishes to you both and many "little pumpkins!"
Cheers,
Mickey

Hear the mellow wedding bells--
Golden bells!
What a world of happiness their harmony foretells!
Through the balmy air of night
How they ring out their delight!--
From the molten-golden notes,
And all in tune,
What a liquid ditty floats
To the turtle-dove that listens, while she gloats
On the moon!
Oh, from out the sounding cells,
What a gush of euphony voluminously wells!
How it swells!
How it dwells
On the Future!--how it tells
Of the rapture that impels
To the swinging and the ringing
Of the bells, bells, bells--
Of the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells--
To the rhyming and the chiming of the bells!
--Edgar Allan Poe, from "The Bells"

Yes, pictures please!
Hmmm, might be lost on honeymoon. Would that be the corn patch, cow pea patch. . oops.
Yes, you look like you are glowing Jere. All I have to say, speaking from personal experience, is keep God first and fore most everyday and it will only grow and get better.
Just ask Jim Hohnberger. . . a little birdy told me that you know who he is. :)
I recently read his reprint of Escape to God. It again was a blessing.
May God Bless you both more abundantly than either of you ever imagined!

Yes, we are still on our honeymoon, it is just about over as we are setting up at Silver Dollar City in a few days.
We sent most of our time in North Port, MI. it was so beautiful there! We also sent a couple days in Canada.
We are having a great time, Emilee is wonderful, I will post wedding pictures soon as i get a chance.

I just got the Fall issue of Heirloom Gardener Magazine and saw the wedding picture in the editorial section. It is my suspicion that this issue of HGM will become a collector's item because of that picture.

Actually they're not back. Or rather, they WERE back. Now they're at the small farm conference in Columbia. But next week they're really gonna be back.
