I had a critter come thru probably a rabbit and eat all the tops off my carrots almost right to the ground. :mad:
Will they still grow or should I dig them up :confused:

Boston - have you seen any new green on the carrots since you posted this, or are they still bald? The root needs the photosynthesis going on in the leaves to continue the spurt of growth you want. Sorry i didn't respond right away.... what did you ever do with the carrots?

nothing yet and no they dont seem to be growing new tops

If it were me I'd dig one up and take a look. If it's usable, like a baby carrot, take them all up, eat them, and plant something else. If it isn't close to eating size, it'll never get there without the leaves, so plant something else in that case too. What kind of carrots were they? Any chance you have time to grow more in your zone?
