Construction Site in Queens, NY has TRAgic accident....

I was in the dealership waiting for them to finish replacing the brakes on my p/u truck when a news story flashed on the tv about a tragic accident in Queens, NY on a jobsite where one worker was confirmed dead; two others in critical condition. The pictures were of a crumpled mass of concrete..

All I could think of at the time was MrTomatoExpress saying yesterday (twice) how the rains in NYC were welcome becuz they cleaned up the city....

Charlie, I so hope that this tragedy doesn't affect you directly in any way?? Friends/coworkers...Family!!!

May the rain help wash away the tears of those who are now missing loved ones.

hi blue thanks for thinking about me and freinds do not now anyone that got injured and thats right redbrick lets pray for them i did not now about what happened i do not watch the news that much anymore because you do not get the real news i will watch later tonite :( i watched the news they said the building was not secured the right way it always happens the company wants to save money they do not care about the workers :mad:

I did not hear about that either. It happens at least once a yr down there. They don't put up anything to hold the 'walls' and then its a little mudslide.
