Hey Ya'll
I had a heart attack 3 years ago, but I'm still looking for a good source for recipes that have low sat. fat, and also low in sugar. I am really interested in making our own sugar free jams and jellies. I am also looking for fish and wild game recipes.

Hi,
I noticed you were looking for sugar free jellies and jams. I just got and browsed through a new book that might have what you are looking for. It's called "Keeping Food Fresh - Old World Techniques and Recipes" by the Gardeners & Farmers of Terre Vivante. I ordered it with some other things from Raworganique online but I think most bookstores should be able to get it. If you have any access to the library system where you can request books, you might be able to check it out from there to see if it has some ideas you are looking for before purchasing it. They have some unique ideas specifically for jams with no added sugars & more raw and natural food preservation methods. Hope this helps get you started!

If you can find any Prevention cookbooks by Rodale, they have great tasting recipes and are health conscious.
