Hey... I have lunaria (silver dollar plant, honesty) seeds if anyone wants them. I know they grow wild many places, but not everywhere. They have a really pretty, fragrant pink/purple flower in spring, and then the distinctive seeds pods in summer. Not many pests like them, so they are safe in the garden. They self sow and naturalize easily. The only down side is they are biennial, so there will be no flower or seed next year if you plant them, but the year after. PM me if you'd like some - I'll get them to you as soon as Ernesto stops dumping buckets on us.

You poor girl, just checked where you were from. Lots of streets flooded down there.
We are still waiting here in Pa. Keep dry

Thanks Joan! The back yard is mostly under about an inch of water right now, but that'll go away as soon as it stops raining - good old Virginia red clay! Pretty swampy when I take the dogs out, but otherwise survivable. You'll probably start seeing it late tonight, I'd guess. Figures! About 2 days ago I was watering my late tomatoes and hoping to get one more canning out of them! Hope the old walnut survives! I may need to dry out the lunaria before I send it to anyone, now....
