Hey, look what I did! This is my 1,000th post, and I just joined this summer. There are a little over 16,000 posts on the whole forum, so I guess that means I've made a little less than 1/16th of them.
I just want to take this oppurtunity to say that that idig is the coolest thing in the world and I really enjoy sharing this hobby with everyone here! Thanks for making my life better than ever.

Hey Johno
I've already congratulated you, but I'll just type it again "Congrats". You really do offer a lot of information that is very interesting. Just push back, rest your neck and keep typing. :)

Johno, I thought that you were posting a lot this week due to work slowdowns in the construction industry??
Now it sounds like you are having issues with your neck after returning to work perhaps too quickly after spinal surgery??
:(
Pleez do as Dr. Sharon suggests and take it easy...
But as long as you can still share your ideas and type, let's keep on typing...

Actually, it was both... I hurt my neck and there was a hangup in the scheduling at work in the same week.
Two weeks ago, we were trying to stand a garage wall with too few men (that type of wall frame contains a very heavy engineered header over the garage door opening, and one of my men was on light duty elsewhere from cutting the tip of the bone off of one of his fingers.) When it was most of the way up, my number two yelled to let it back down, but going backwards is not something I've healed enough to do, I soon discovered. So I fell, and then the wall fell and hit me in the face and threw me to the ground. That was definitely not something my surgeon would like to hear, but I was fine after a few minutes. The others were unhurt.
Then, last Monday, I was working in a crawlspace and hit my head on a floorjoist. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Since then, my morning routine of getting over the 'shakes,' or 'wiggles' as wifey calls them, and muscle contractions that sometimes drag me to the floor, has been taking 3 or 4 hours instead of 1. So I was going in late because of taking so long to warm up in the morning, but my boss didn't mind because he was having a hard time keeping us busy while waiting on roof trusses which were a week behind.
Too much information?
Anyway, that's why I was so busy typing last week...

Johno - if you ever change your signature to Latin, you can go with "Veni Vidi Velcro" - "I came, I saw, I stuck around" (technically it'd be 'velcrui' in the correct tense, but it's funnier the other way) Glad you're the Postmaster! Hope you're feeling better....
