I am going nuts waiting for the Fall issue of Heirloom Gardener. Does anyone know when it will be released?

I'm probably waaay early on this one, but when is the '07 catalog due to be released?

I'm an impatient procrastinator...

LOL, I've been checking my mail every day for seed catalogs and I still haven't finished cleaning up the garden, yet. Is that pathetic or what? :)

The magazine will start being mailed today and all should be mailed by about next Wednesday. The catalog will go out at the beginning of January, maybe a bit earlier.

Is the 2007 Garden Guide out? I wondered if it would have more on fall and winter gardening; the current one only covers spring.

Don't know of any changes to the garden guide. There may be some that I'm unaware of since I've hardly talked to Jere since August. But if I were to guess I'd guess "no changes."

I can't wait till the 07 BC catalog is here at my address. My favorite section is the squash/pumpkin pages. I wish BC would sell shallot seeds.

I don't have mine yet. Maybe they send them out alphabetically, and haven't reached the "S" yet.

George, I guess it's not alphabetical. I am "Sc...." and I got my issue on tuesday.(One day after I bugged poor Randel about it) This is the first issue for me. I really liked it, very informative.

In Jere and Emilee's wedding photo, there are lg, "flat" ,yellow tomatoes. (They are in front of the vase.) Does anyone know the name of the variety? I grew them from seeds I got from wintersown. So it was a mixed pack of heirlooms.

Nope it's not alphabetical--it goes by zip code. And since it's bulk rate it isn't necessarily fast. Or very consistent. But it does get there. Here's hoping it gets to everyone soon, and that it was worth the wait.

So, have you've read it from cover to cover how many times now Andy?? I know you're just itching to tell us about it. I keep seeing you online. :)

OK, so I'm an idig junkie, I admit it! "Hello, my name is Andy, and I'm an idig-aholic. It's been three minutes since I've checked the boards..."

Honestly, I haven't had much chance to check out the mag yet. Waiting for a solid chunk of time to do that. Yeah, right, like that's gonna happen soon! Most of my reading happens at work during lunch!

Johno, the catalog has been at the printer's for a week now. The huge mailing will be done directly from there and is supposed to commence about December 14. Everyone except those who very recently requested one is on that list. So most should see their catalog, I'm thinking, by right around Christmas.
