Im confused, This time of year, does this mean its sold out FOR THIS YEAR-- or does it mean , due to crop failure, people buying, etc,--that they're not going to be in the spring catalog? By shopping online, instead of waiting for a spring catalog, this can be confusing.

Well, we don't plan to discontinue much...only a very small number of items in which our customers show the least interest. But we don't go too far in this direction because we like the diversity of our offerings.

Mostly, out of stock items just means that we've sold all of the particular variety, and are waiting for more seeds. Much of our stock IS contract grown however, and a crop failure could well mean no seed available in the coming season.

We also plan to have a LOT of new varieties for 2006, and we already have around 50 of these on hand so far.

It will probably be as late as November before we have everything in hand. At that point we would figure out what if anything would be unavailable for 2006.

Speaking of out of stock, Does anybody know a reliable source for softneck garlic cloves? I prefer Missouri grown garlic. Email me at john691@centurytel.net or reply here.

I would also like to know how to get some garlic. I bought some wonderful giant bulbs at the August festival that I planned to plant but they proved to tempting to save. I'm using the last few cloves in pesto tonight. So I really want some more!!! Maybe some to plant and some to cook with. I believe I bought mine at the same booth where they had corn on the cob cooking. But i'm not picky if anyone else has the giant cloved garlic I'll take it. :D

Don't you grow your garlic at the Mansfield farm?

Don't you grow your garlic at the Mansfield farm?

It has been three weeks since this question was posted and STILL NO ANSWER! What is it with the lack of response from this business? A simple question begets a simple answer. Communication. Communication. Communication.

jammar: who was the question addressed to? there are several farms in mansfield, and not all read this forum :) this is a public forum...

In our own garden we only plant a little garlic, for time reasons.

Territorial Seed still has some garlic but it says they ship late September-early October so I don't know if you could order some.

Hi,
Just came in for a bit and read someone looking for garlic. Ronnigers.com still has garlic and is shipping now. When Jere ran out, that's where I went and was pleased with the quality. Will learn to order earlier next year from Baker Creek!
