Has anyone here ever grown kamut, or made bread with it or otherwise cooked with it? That question appeared on lehmanslife forum, and got me interested. Growing conditions, water requirements, and seasons? Threshing?
I know Walton Feed carries organic kamut, but I can't find a listing for it in Carla Emery's Encyclopedia of Country Living, and while I know I've also seen it in grains section of another garden catalog, I can't remember which one.
So far I haven't tried it, but it sounds interesting. Info, please.
