This forum has got to be new. I have never seen it before.

How, then, does it have threads going back to February 2008?

Was it an exclusive private forum that just became public today?

Nope...somebody was busy...one or more mods/admins spent some serious time putting this together, especially gathering up all the scattered recipe threads and moving them here.

There are a few more that I would like to see moved here when they get the time-- like the Lacto-Fermentation thread, and the Bread Baking thread. I wonder if we all searched out our favorite cooking/food saving threads in the other forums and bumping them to the front then they can be sent here.? Just a thought.

When I've done this kind of work, on another forum, I preferred getting a list of threads sent to me than trying to keep track of what got 'bumped'...but that was my preference, the other mods liked moving the bumped threads better.

So, which would you like GZ and the other mods/admins, a list or just bump the threads?

This is a new thread. One E was happy to see.
The one I was referring to was "How about a recipe thread"
Now I got it.
I hope Randel can sticky the old one so I can always find it.

I noticed this just today and then got really confused. It is nice to have a whole section dedicated to food storage and recipes.

I hope everyone can use it to share pickling and freezing ideas as well.

Jeffery, some of the members have been asking for a Recipes and Food Preservation Forum for quite a while. The idea being that it makes it easier to search for recipes than if they were lost in a thread someplace else.
I for one, am thrilled that the Admin has given us this forum.

I do agree that the Lacto-Fermentation thread is a keeper. Where ever keepers go it needs to be there.
