I really dislike it when people are wrong, and won't admit it...in arguments here.

Simple. Someone gives you an opinion... and you provide facts/stories...etc.. and the person who called you out.. suddenly, quit posting on the thread... or ignores the facts..and ignores your reply(proving their opinon, that is being presented as factual information..incorrect).

Just a "pet peeve" of mine.

I have apologized, said you are correct, when I am 100% wrong on some topics... would appreciate seeing similar courtesy being provided to myself, and others.
(this is why my FIL quit arguing with me... got tired of saying" Oh..my source was incorrect"...at least he said something... even if he said it..and it was he who used his opinion that was incorrect..then blamed someone else/some mystery source I never saw him produce, when asked, lol).

I find it easier to simply accept that there are those who will never admit when they are wrong, and that is just how they are. I dont generally need to have anyone admit anything. Not trying to win any prizes here.

Another problem, Gort, is sometimes the facts/stories people use to prove themselves right or wrong.

I'd say that 95% of the posts here are opinion rather than 'facts' because people seldom enjoy arguing about facts and because opinion and bias are difficult things to prove. Of course, I may be wrong..... :p;)
