I cleaned and reorganized the computer room and desk Friday. Now I can't find my brand new Baker Creeks catalog. :( Luckily...I found last years :o and all the items and prices are still the same :p
Just when I finally get it together....... I forget where I put it.

My husband won't let me put anything of importance up anymore. He knows I'll never remember where I put it. I'll put something up all the while saying to myself: I'll put so and so here I KNOW I'll remember where I put it. Yeah right! One time when we lived in Tenn. I put a hundred dollar bill in a pill bottle, forgot all about it. When I found it cleaning, about a year later the cabinets were bare with hardly any groceries. Sure was a nice find that day. My DD takes after me, we swear she has a black hole that only she know where it is. Things go missing around here regularly into that black hole. You would think after moving around like we did back then we'd find all kinds of things, but never did on some things. trudyjean

I think that most of us as we get older develop that dreaded disease called
C R S - can't remember stuff! What were we talking about?

Wish I could claim it was age, but I've always been on the forgetful side! Keep a junk pile on the table beside me, cleaned it a couple of weeks ago when company was coming, & still looking for Ins papers I promised MIL I'd review. Guess I'll have to blame it on resident ghost Maxine :D

I'll tell you how you know you are getting forgetful from age - you accept the fact that you must make a list or two to remember and you don't even mind doing it anymore.

My trick is making a list to take with me to the grocery store, for Example and forgetting the list on the kitchen table anyway. :p
