Is that abnormal this time of year in your part of Arizona? I know they're talking about beating a record snowfall in Denver today.

I'd say...I looked it up...most of AZ doesn't get frost until late November...

Sorry to hear everything bit it last night. Cold came a little early this year didn't it? We had a record low temp for a high yesterday, 62 deg. so I can only imagine how it was for you all down there. Temps are supposed to go up again in a couple of days but know that won't help what you lost. That's a heartbreaker. You get your fall garden in yet?

Yeah pretty bizzare , some kind of low that dropped out of Canada , buzzed a beeline for us and sat on top all night last night all day today and supposed to stay tonight as well

it was literally 26 D F here for 6 hours last night so everything that could freeze , well it did ... I'll be picking like a madman tomorrow , trying to salvage anything I can ...

pretty sad I nursed all of those tomatoes through the most brutal Summer EVER in AZ since the 40's and everybody was shocked that I was able to save all of the plants due to my genius methodology ... but alas , nature got the upper hand and all of that work was almost for naught ,,, I did learn a lot of valuable lessons and technical stuff that could help locals , but a hard freeze IS a hard freeze ... so ... except for Garlic onions carrots and a few other things all of the Summer-Fall stuff is Toast .

Big Sale / Frostbitten Green Tomatoes & Chilis' !!!

I woke up and went out to feed the Chickens this morning and my jaw dropped as I surveyed my entire Garden as a burnt by the fire of freeze look to it ! :(
