I am so happy to find this website. I am a beginner gardener and to complicate things I live in an extreme climate so I have LOTS of questions. I feel like I just found a "garden" of experienced friends.

BTW is anyone here a California gardener?

Hi Mrschief! I'm new to this site also. Jump to Heirloom Gardening and look at the post that says Poll:Where do you live? I was just there and thought I saw someone from San Diego on there! Give it a shot. Hortlady

Yes I'm happy to find it too. A good start for my new year finding it. Don't remember how I linked to it originally either but glad I did. I placed my first order today plus sent in my $10 for the subscription to the magazine.

I too, am happy that I found this site. I have been gardening for years and years. However my computer skills ain't worth a hoot. So I'll just read and try to learn some new stuff. If I can answer someone's question, I'll try to get the computer to co-operate. I love to garden, can, cook and travel (to visit gardens). So, HELLO TO EVERYONE.
