Over 40 individual workshops focused on growing and eating sustainably produced food (i.e. traditional diets, alternative farm energy, market gardening, raising livestock and field crops, soil health, human health, direct marketing, specific growing techniques, alternative building strategies, building a farm business, permaculture, and more)

It looks like my husband and I will be doing a pastured poultry workshop (I don't know what day yet) at this conference

Anyone who lives in OH, KY, PA, WVa, IN, IL, WI should really consider going to this conference. It's one of the best I have been to. well organized, great locally raised food, good speakers (Sally Fallon is worth the price of admission if you care about what you put in your body).

Workshops for the most part are done by farmers who know their stuff though since OSU started fiddling with organics they usually send in a person or two to do a couple of workshops of a more scientific bent.

I'll be doing a pastured poultry workshop with my husband on Saturday 3-3
