Thats right folks, there is no sense in me hoarding seeds, so as soon as I and the wife get a chance, I will sort out what we will need, gee, if I have time to make a list, I will, so If you have a heirloom Favorite, please ask, I Just may have it to give or trade! :)

hey Phil, do you know me....

After moving from lower louisiana to our present homesite in tennessee we lost most of our seed stock due to very wet weather. If by chance you have any extra seeds, pass em this way... Littlechicken farmer

Due to recent move and the way this year is looking I too will have some extra seeds. I do not want them to go to waste!

I'm looking, that I know for sure, for some rare melons (really sweet ones), and Black Pear, Black Zebra, and Black Trifile (can't remember exact spelling at this dah-moment) tomato seeds.

Let me know if you have any of these items. . .or something interesting. You can even private message me if you'd rather. And also if there is something particular you are looking for.

Thanks a bunch!

If you find that you have either sweet pepper or hot pepper seeds or radishes of any kind that need a home, I'd love small quantities (even 3-5 seeds of a variety) of any sweet or hot pepper seeds, or any quantities of long beans (asparagus beans), cowpeas, or tepary beans, or snow peas, or any quantities of rhubarb, asparagus, or small quantities of heirloom corn (any kind) or tomatillo or beets.
Don't have much to trade right now except for some flower seeds, but I'd be more than happy to pay postage. By fall I hope to have more Egyptian (walking) onions and maybe more squash and melon seed if those plants cooperate. (I haven't tested the germination rate of my saved chard and Asian greens stuff yet, so I can't offer that until later this spring.)
Thanks!

Hi Pharmerphil, I'm looking for beet and carrot seeds (unusual colors are a plus, LOL). You can check out my trade page at garden web (http://www.gardenweb.com/members/exch/nemophila), I don't have much but you might be able to find something you'd like.

Tashak, I've got loads of red mini bell pepper seed, PM me if you're interested.

How HOT do you like those hot peppers? I have some seeds from a plant that I keep in a pot and bring in every year that makes some VERY hot peppers. It's a type of pepper called bird peppers or chiltepins. It grows normally in the southwest US and in Mexico. I ordered the seeds years ago and planted the seed in a pot. My plant is about 10 years old, and it keeps making peppers every year.
The peppers are about the size of sweet peas, but hot as habaneros.

Phil, Thanks for the offer. I sure could use some as I plant a huge community garden with my kids. We have spent a lot of time talking about GMO and general self sufficency issues. I am trying to teach city kids about gardening and relying on their own two hands instead of hand outs.

Sprocket, I sent you a personal message

Thanks again Phil.
We could use some tomato, bean, beet, carrots, lettuces, squash and corn seeds. I am looking for some seeds with a strong heritage and history behind them. I have been teaching my kids about GMO and organic foods and the importance of becoming self sufficent. All of this under the guise of science and history. The culminating project is for all of us to plant a community garden. It is a service learning style project for any of you familiar with that term. I have diddly squat for a budget and am looking for any help that I can get. I just started in the seed saving biz last year so I am a newbie at it and could use any suggestions. So any seeds that you'd like to part with Phil I'd be honered and appreciative. You can email me in here or at KcSprocekt58@hotmail.com. Any others that would like to help well we'd welcome that as well. I am trying to develop a sense of activism and stewardship within these urban kids and so far it's working. They've all started asking questions about the hot lunch at school. ; )

FourDeuce, the chiltepines or whatever they are sound great. I like them hot, and the Silver Springs Food Bank takes whatever donated seed it can get. Those pepper plants are really pretty indoors in the winter, too.
Congratulations on keeping your pepper plant growing that long!

Do you have enough seeds to send more than 4-6 seeds? Where should I send SASE?
Again, thanks.

Sprocket, email me late summer or late fall. I hope to do a lot of seed saving this year, depending on how stuff grows, and hope to have some beet, chard, Asian greens, mizuna, kale, radish and maybe squash and snow peas/crowder peas.
Good luck with the community garden.

Phil I would love some hot and sweet peppers, spinach, amish paste tomatoes, kale, arugula, and and anything else you might like to throw in. I collect and raise heirloom seed to protect and promote biodiversity.

Sorry for such a delay in response. Was in auto accident. Ouch!
Still recovery. . .but doing better. :o

I actually meant Black Pear, however if you have extra Black Pearl that you would like to share/spare please let me know Cecropia. I can trade for another sample of seed if I have anything particular you are seeking.

Thanks!
