I have a grey fuzzy growth on my spearmint plant leaves. Does anyone think that it's fungus? What should I do to get rid of it without hurting my plant? It is about 6 inches tall with lots of leaves. The plant is indoors until my greenhouse arrives this week. It is sitting in the middle of about 15 different herb plants and the only one with the growth on the leaves. Thanks for any help.

I'm sure you have "Powdery mildew" but would need a pic to be sure, along with 'Rust" another concern to mint growers, it is the two biggies, I will check my files for a picture of powdery mildew and get back here in a Jiffy :D
Ok, Back...best I had

mrschiefmac maybe you should hope it dies. Mint is very invasive and has been known to even travel under a sidewalk. I planted some 4 years ago and think I finally got the last of it gone last year...I HOPE. If you really want it I'd grow it in a container and prune off all blooms.
Thanks for listening,
John
