I'm not, but need to. I have juice in the freezer from the summer I didn't use up and now I'm almost out of jelly. I figured when I get a little extra time I'd make a batch or two. I am starting to harvest some carrots that I haven't decided whether to can or freeze. trudy

My mom and now me......freeze the "jelly juice" when it's so hot in the summer and make jelly in the winter......making jelly helps warm the house then. It seems even more appropriate now with heating fuel so high priced.

I can year around. In the winter I can dried beans in pints for quick burritos, soup, tacos. etc. I put up a lot of jelly and jams in the winter as well.

I freeze and can fruit, then in the winter make jams and jellies. You can make marmalade any time from citrus fruits; just make sure they are organic. Also you can make jelly from teas, mints, herbs and others.
