Did anyone plant the Tigger melon last year? I did and had lots of small, not quite softball size melons. My problem was that they had no flavor. The seed packet they came in probably tasted better! Did anyone else have this problem? I'm trying to decide whether to give them another chance.

Hey lacy; You need really hot/dry weather to get any taste.I consider these in the same cat.as Kiwano, really great for decoration but nothing else.Even in the right condition the taste will still be bland compared to other melons.

Ipulled off about 1/3 of the melons after they fruited and had some pretty good melons, but not as sweet a regular melons. I'm trying again this year. Mine got about three to four pounds max.

Had fair crop, hot dry weather...but still not as tasty as other melons...but were medium quality.
