Hi! New to this site and I have a question.
We bought a fixer upper acerage last year with old barns etc and I have tons of old manure in the barns. A horse barn that has manure that is at least 2 years old and a cow barn with manure that is I think about 10 years old a nice very thick layer on the cement floor in both. I did dig some out and put it on my flower beds but unsure if I should use manure of animals I do not know what they ate etc on my veggies- what do you all think?
thanks

IMO with the manure being "aged" I see no problem. I do think I wouldn't use no more than an inch coverage til you see how your plants are responding. Someone else may know more about this than I and will post. trudy

I would use the horse manure on the veggies. The cow seems a bit old and may not have as many nutrients.
