I haven't heard anything lately, and since it's about two weeks away, I thought I'd post the question: Are we still on? Hoping to see a lot of old friends for the first time there!

hi all my firneds.. i have some inconvenient news about roostock festival.. i was really looking forward to hosting this at my place july28th.. but have a conflict this date now as my dad is going in for major surgery the friday the 27 in manhattan.. and i need to be down there for this .. so i am hoping that all will be free the following week august 4th.. i know flowerpower.. redbrick.. bluelaced were planning on attneding so please let me know it this date is good for you and any ohters who can make it i will personally call you with directions.. sorry for the change of date but i only found out a couple days ago when the lung surgery was going to happen for my dad.. im really loooking forward to a fun gathering on the 4th.. ive rescheduled with some of my local friends/gardeers for that date but its my priority that my friends form i dig can make it.. so please let me know .. thank you... stonysoil/alias... ira

Stony, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, I hope the surgery goes well for him! I'll be praying for you.

As to Rootstock, it would seem to me that that's only a distant secondary concern for you now. I'm sure everyone else will feel the same on this. By all means, don't stretch yourself too thin. Cancel if you need to, I certainly would! Concerning the fourth, I'll let you know, though it shouldn't be a problem for me.

I spoke too soon. We have people coming to the house to discuss a missions trip to Scotland that weekend, so I won't be able to make it. Sorry, I was really looking forward to it!

sorry all for the cancellation or postponement of the rootstock festival at my place..as it turned out my dads sugery did not go as we had hoped and he needs further treatment before they can conquer the problem.. all prayers are welcome.. thanks
