Is there such a thing as too much compost? I have raised beds that I use to plant veggies. They were orginally filled with "topsoil", then last year we dumped in some steer manure. This year I would perfer to mix in organic compost (store bought) . Am I correct in assuming that there is no such thing as too much compost? Is it better to use compost or hummus?
Thanks!

I don't think there's such a thing as too much properly aged compost, but the steer manure... last year- fall? spring? aged or fresh? One can burn the roots of plants with fresh manure.
