sorry if this isn't the place to list this. . .such a newbie!

Anyway, although our place isn't certified organic we want to hold to the standard. We grow items for our family and many people; and also feed our Nigerian Dairy goats. And the Nigerian Dairy goats feed our soil and us. And so the cycle of life--in brief. I'm having a difficult time locating and maintaining sources for organic grain, hay, or feed for our dairy goats.

I know many of you have small farms that include livestock. Maybe by experience some of you can help me out with our need. Thanks for your time and help!

This isn't exactly my field or anything...never had any use for organic feed but, maybe try going on line and looking for farms or suppliers in your area. Most of the time I have better luck online rather than using the yellow pages.
I did go online to look around a bit and this is a little of what I found

These are 2 ranchs in TN. that appear to have nigerian goats. If they use organic feed I am sure they can help you and if not then maybe they can give you a contact email or name.

Good luck! :D

a google search turned this site up for me. Lists a Toll Free Number and an email addy as well to ask what feedstores in your area stock the organic feeds you need.

Jodi,

If you aren't "certified organic", but want to hold to the standards, go to

www.naturallygrown.org

It's a good program.
