Several years ago, I bought a beauty of a Marugg 16" bush blade for my scythe, which is also made in Austria. The Marugg model doesn't fit this handle. Kept it thinking I'd buy the handle to match someday. Am no longer living on a farm and my grass bladed scythe is sufficient for use here. SO there is a brand "new" - unused - scythe blade that is weary of living in a box and needs to find a place to fulfill its purpose in life. The current price is $52 plus $13.85 shipping on the Marugg site. www.themaruggcompany.com I have the original directions that came with it and would include a photocopy. Am asking $45 and hoping we could reduce the postage depending on where you are. (If you need one, matching handle aka snathe, is $29 - $32 plus shipping depending on model chosen. See website.) Lehman's carries Marugg scythes but doesn't offer this size blade. Prices are higher, also. If interested, let's see how we can work this out.
