Hi everyone,

New here, my name is John, live in Vermont and like to garden. Am just trying to get into house plants.

I don’t know if this is the right places to post this or not, but here goes.

I would like to get some house plants but can’t find a print catalog.
I have one big window that gets 3-4-hr of sun the rest of the day good bright light.
I don’t do any net ordering at all. Went though that and had my ID stolen twice, so no more.
Can you help me find a home mail order catalog?
Thank you all,
John

Welcome John!!!!
Here's a place to start looking it's mail order and e-order too.

When I did house plants and had the windows setup to do it in I got most of my plants from local stores and flower shops. If you know somebody the has the plants already many of them will start from cuttings. Check you local library and see if they have or can get books on plant and house plant propagation. Try a google search "houseplant propagation" Hope this helps.

John, I have gotten houseplants in the supermarket, Home Depot, K mart etc. But mostly I have gotten slips/cuttings from friends and neighbors. If you ask around,I bet you will end up with a bunch of plants.

Pharmerphil,

First thank you for the offer. That’s just it, I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for.
One reason for the catalog, I san see what the adult plant looks like.
Into exotic plants (food? Maybe) that will grow in my window here.

Flowerpower,

Yes I have seen in supermarket, but don’t know what the adult looks like. Also they spray almost daily for bugs Etc. When you by one all you by is more spray then anything else.
Thank you very much,
John
