anyone catch Nature on PBS this week?

It was called Silence of the Bees, very interesting, at least the parts I got to see. Looked at colony collapse disorder and how much we have to lose if the bees disappear.

I didn't catch Nature, but there was a story on 60 Minutes last night. It is unclear what is happening to the bees. It was interesting that the abandoned hives were not scavenged by other bees for the honey as they are usually. Something about the hives is detected by other bees who know to stay away.

Yea! That nature story was really good! I watched it and I was impressed. I even learned a few new things and I've been following the research closely. Like I knew the cell phone theory had been debunked, but i didn't know why, and the show explained how shoddy that research was.
Basically everyone's just crossing their fingers for this winter. *sigh*
