The current issue of World Ark (Heifer International) mentions a useful new low budget recipe website, http://recipefinder.nal.usda.gov/ which gives cost per serving and nutrition information, lets you rate the recipes, and submit your own. Some recipes are for microwave, some for microwave or oven, some for stove top. The goal is tasty healthful eating on a very low (food stamp) budget, under $25 per person per week....
Check out the fresh produce recipes, and by all means feel free to contribute yours that meet the site goals. Too many people are unfamiliar with too many fresh produce items, or only know one or two ways to serve them.
While the site initially is difficult to navigate, it does let you search for recipes either by ingredient or by recipe name.
If you are involved with the grocery store budget battle, or helping with a local food bank/pantry by contributing surplus garden produce, or a CSA, this website might well be useful. Rather nice to find a website that doesn't call for expensive ingredients to cook a simple vegetable or other dish!
