Being a northern gardener, sometimes really leaves you DEAD, in the spring! well not yourself, but some of your perennials. Raked a few beds yesterday and had some winter kill brought on by the severe temps,(30 below) we had a stretch of before snow cover was enough to blanket them. Wife, feeling a little blue over this, Sometimes tho, they will bounce back, sometimes a lil TLC, is needed, please click Here (http://rookyg.proboards51.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=sunflower&thread=1144232329)
If you have any remedies and can cheer her up, I have to chase her down sometimes myself to hear from her, our work schedules keep us from seeing each other, except for late at night, all week long.I think that some will revive, and I have a couple tricks, gotta admit, flowers aren't my forte, although I enjoy them, and love having them. :)

What all do you (she) thinks she lost, some of us here may have it and can send her some replacement starts. At least I would, if I have it. I can only speak for myself. trudyjean

Sublingual vitamin B 12 or complex works for me.

Hod here...
I find chocolate works wonders for cheering the wifey. The expensive handmade truffle kind seems to be most effective. :)

And the B-12 even helps my grouchy tired old a** feel better and have more energy.

Add a trip to the Seed store or a local greenhouse gives me a 99.5% sucsess rate at having a happy wife!

Get her good and liquored up then slap her around with a live squid. That will liven her up. It always works with my wife.

The downside is,.... I bruise easy. But boy does she liven up.
