Bedford is hosting its 2nd annual Bedford in Bloom on Saturday May 20, 2006.
Free tours of Rainbow Iris Farm from 9am to 6pm. Guest speaker: Dr. Cynthia Haynes,Iowa State University Horticulture Dept. Rainbow Iris Farm is owned by Kelly Norris, a freshman at ISU. He wrote an article for the winter 2005/2006 issue of the Heirloom Gardner. Also happening in town that day are: town-wide garage sales 7am-???

downtown sidewalk sales 10am-2pm
bar-b-q lunch 11:30am-1pm at the courthouse
"Butterfly Lady" 11:30 am at the courthouse, live butterfly release at
noon
Wild Flowers 12:15, I assume this is an informative presentation
Educational Racoon 1pm, again an informative presentation for kids???
garden tours 1:30pm-3:30pm
Art in the Alley all day
Quilt show all day
