Seeking demonstrators,vendors,crafters for 1840 Rendezvous in Rockaway Beach Missouri

This May will be the second annual Rockaway Beach Mountain Man Rendezvous.
This will be a pre 1840 encampment where period clothing and camp will be required during the hours open to the public.
Are you a wool spinner, leather worker, story teller, musician, candel maker, weaver..ect...
Do you have knowledge of gathering wild herbs, cooking canning, tool making...ect..and can present it in a historical manner?

The dates are May 16,17,18th..with early set up and late tear down available.
This event is supported by the Rockaway Beach Chamber of Commerce with wood, water and hooters available on site.
There is a pot luck dinner for all campers on saturday night.
There is a camp fee of 15.00 collected by the Chamber.
The camp is open to the public Friday and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, and 9 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
We had a wonderful time last year with 30 plus camps, in the first year.
The site is really nice, with very convient access to local supplies and fishing and attractions( if ya have time!)

Oh no come hang out at will in whatever suits ya...well you know...LOL
this is a very laid back group..we had a ral good time and met some nice people from other areas
It s right around the corner from our place...( well like in the christmas song about grandmas house...you know over th river and through the woods...)

HAHA...I just got a PM...
so I thought I would send a little mountain man lesson out today...

HOOTERS..are potties, out houses, port O POOS. thrones away from home, and necessary evil plastic blue things required.
One of the neatest things I learned this last year at the Pioneer days near AVA was, they disguised theirs with a wall of corn stalks...very genius! And yes we are borrowing the idea...
SO..now you know!
