Well let me see.. $10 a day; $15 on Saturday..or $22 Weekend Pass and a Free Supper?
And since Ozark's playing all 3 days I'm guessing that you must be pretty near to being the headliners, huh ;)
I just wish some of these promo posters and websites would give a bit more detail as far as what to expect from the concessions? But of course, they want you to come and find out, lol
I hope you have great weather. It sounds like a good time!

We're far from the headliners. They just can't run us off. <grin>
I don't know anything about concessions, in fact I've emailed them wanting to know. But West Plains is big enough that I'm sure they have a couple gro. stores I can buy a package of hotdogs and a loaf of bread.

Hope you're having a sell out crowd and I hope that Fawnmeadow has found the time to attend this festival...
Wish I were there.......................

Well, I wish I had know that was you guys. Your Mother in Law was very sweet and funny. I enjoyed meeting her. I'm guessing that was you and your husband sitting on the other side of her?
Your poor Mother in Law had to sit next to me right after we got off stage. We were all soaked to the bone from sweating. It was about 30 degrees hotter on stage then out in the audiance.
Thanks for the compliment. We had a ball in West Plains. I'm glad you enjoyed the show. There were some aweful good bands there and good people. As much fun as we had, I sure couldn't do that for a living. I've sat around the house all day Sunday recovering. I even had to skip Church and I hate that.

Cliff,
If that description is accurate, there's gonna be a lot of CONFUSION when I move to Missouri.

Do you pick or sing?
They are starting a jam session in Springfield on Tuesday nights at 6 pm at High Strung music store just south of the square. They are having open mike on Wednesdays

Cliff, let us know the minute you get those CD's!
Ceresone, have you ever been to Weavers Pickin Parlor on Fri nites, or The Current River Opry in Summersville on Sat. nite? Great places to hear some good Bluegrass!

Regular bluegrass nights? Is that west of West Plains, perchance?

Johno: Weavers Pickin Parlor I think is technically in Willow Springs, just east on Rt 60. Every Fri nite they have Bluegrass from 7 to 10 PM for a donation of $3. a person. Ya never know who will be there, just whoever shows up. They have some really talented musicians like Jimmie Orchard, & Larry Deathridge and if ya play or sing they'll let you do a couple of songs if ya let them know. The Current River Opry is in Summersville on Sat. nite from 7:30 to 10. Mary Ann and Clarence Crider are there every week and when Jimmy Orchard or The Bressler Bros. aren't there they have guest musicians. Most of the music they do is a mix of Bluegrass, county and gospel.
I don't mean to sound like a walking advertisement, I'm just blown over that there are places like this to go to, hear so many talented people, and meet new friends. We didn't have places like this in Ct.

I've got a friend who has a musical group. I asked what type of music they play.
He said, "A little Mo-Town, a little bluegrass. We call it 'mow grass'."
