golf flowers

These casino golf courses are really big on flowers. When I played a new one in Lake Charles the other day the starter lectured us to move our ball away from the flower beds if we land in one. My feeling is flowers don't really belong on golf courses - they would look more natural around the clubhouse - but that's just me. These casinos certainly spare no expense in trying to make things beautiful but there is an artificial beauty to it in my view. :rolleyes:

When we had tv, I saw a show about the casinos in Lost Wages. They showed all these plantscapes built indoors on a twice yearly or so basis. Really nifty, but completely useless and wastful. I wished I had that job.
