Hi! New to this site and new to TX which is very different as to soil, rain, humidity, etc. from Mississippi where I lived the past seven years & where EVERYTHING seems to grow without too much of an issue (rich soil & tons of rain).

I have decided to try some veggies in deck containers and am having problems with my eggplant. It has grown tall very fast and flowered quickly, but the flowers (& therefore the vegetables) are falling off? What am I doing wrong?

They get water every day (from a hose). Is that too much water? Does that cause the blooms to drop? Or do I need to water twice a day? I used good potting soil to plant in.
