Cat with Allergy?

Our housecat has terrible sneezing fits at times and usually has clogged nasal passages?
I've asked elsewhere over the past year for suggestions, without success.
Anyone have any ideas?
Herbal collar of some sort?
A Tonic?

I would also like to know if cats have a secondary allergy thingie.
You know, like if I eat them will I get the sniffles.
