You can buy flypaper strips at WMart at a reasonable cost ... has anybody tried doing something like PharmerPhil's insect trap using a margarine tub, a few drops of something nice-smelling to attract the bugs, and just a bunch of flypaper stuck inside? might be cheaper ...

for outdoor use you need yellow sticky cards to attract inscets. they can handle the rain where fly paper cant.

Also dont forget with attracting pest insects you will attract your beneficials too....
