Were there rules posted somewhere I missed?

I have read and posted in another thread that ended up being a handful of people pitching a fit about a member whom they felt was rude and other people defending his right to have a somewhat off beat sence of humor (*waves hand* I'm a defender!) The particular member in the midst of the debate would seem to have enough class and good taste not to feel the need to defend himself. I am however left wondering if there was a set of rules outlining what is an acceptable sence of humor and viewpoint and what is not that I some how missed. Was there a vote on who was to be nominated as the humor police? I don't remember putting in my vote. Did I miss it somewhere? Crud! when is the term over? I want to nominate Zebraman next go around if possible.

Zebraman seems to me to be one of the more valuable contributors on this forum. It's a shame he's being attacked for style instead of for infraction of the rules.

Hey Werecat;The reason this was singled out is because Andrew and Jere came to the conclusion that The Wingnuts from GardenWeb only come to this site and "Rage"is when I post anything about The USDA/GRIN.The last time this happened they didn't get involved.It does seem inconsistant but it is Their Site.I personally was having FUN,as was JackiMac,however alot of others couldn,t handle it.Which is fine.The Good of the Group Does outweigh the "Twisted Fun"of a couple of its members.
Also when Brook left this site when he/she was told one of his/her posts was wrong he/she went over to GW and got the Wingnuts riled up so they would come over here and "Make Us Pay" for being Mean to Brookie.
Also I am not Going anywhere and You'll just have to go to GardenWeb to see my most recent post regarding the Grin.-

And by the way,Z,I'm the one that complained to the management about your rude behavior,name calling,etc.They thanked me for my concerns and did the right thing.I guess nobody bothered to complain before.AND I will do it again if you continue!

I did go over and see. Zman was kind enough to send me the link information in a private message. I do note that so far he has made mention of that other site only when I had made my off the wall (intended as sarcastic humor) post on this "other" board. He isn't draging that site all over this one as people over there seem to want to drag this one all over that. It just seems to me to be a lot of wasted energy over some seeds. If this is the worst that happens in your day, have a coke and a smile and be gratful.

OK, here we go again. "stir the pot", "wingnuts", "twisted fun" - you guys just don't get it. Forums are meant as a means to share knowledge and information in a FRIENDLY, NON-ABUSIVE manner. I don't think Jere and Baker Seeds will see your condescending, adolescent attitudes as beneficial to their business or to this forum. If they don't clean house, then they risk losing customers because of YOUR attitudes, and you can all have fun talking amongst yourselves, because no one else will care to participate in this forum. I highly doubt that this is what they want. So, I guess I will have to complain again.
