Luvs, thanks so much, the cross is EXACTLY what I want, it is very nice. Will you put something colorful on it later on`? I think all mine will need is a bow or pointsetta. I see waht you mean with the container, less is best with not too much deco stuff. It looks lovely. I will try them both over the next week and let you know. Can I possibly use hot glue gun instead to secure the pines on the cross wreath? How long do you think it may last with this method? So basically, start from outside and then the fullest parts will be the center of the cross wreath then? Should I use the cedar and then work the pines inward? Thank you so much hon. |

You can try using the glue gun...if thay is what you prefer.
I often just wrap wreath wire around the bottom of the pine cones, and then secure to a hefty branch. This method will last till it's faded in the spring... ![]() With the cross, start layering a few "hands" as we call them, the very tips of the branches. For that size they should be about (6-8 inches) aprox 15 cm long. Start at the furthest away and work inward. Keeping them all equal size and layers, you don't want them to bunch up at the center. Yes you can add a small bow to the center and maybe a few pine cones as well. As you work with it you will feel more comfortable.
