Can anyone tell me what this is? I have it in various parts of my yard (wooded area) and I'm not sure if I should encourage it or pull it out.

Looks like a Holly-Hock plant to me. As for friend or foe, they don't seem to bother anything in my yard or garden.

I've done more research and think I have determined it is Garlic Mustard, an invasive weed. I'm going to pull it.

Yes I agree...It does look like Garlic mustard
pic...http://www.google.com/imgres?q=garli...,r:4,s:0,i:143 It behaves like a biennual ...flowering... setting seed the second year to spread. So don't let it go to seed! ![]() bix...the leaves do look somewhat like a hollyhock.... |

Kill It!!!!!! That is garlic mustard a horribly invasive weed. But it is edible and makes a decent pesto
