I do finde as the OP said, that they are particularly nonrabid (nice change of pace) and are really more concerned with drift associated with 2,4-d, which does appear to be particularly risky.

They aren't anti GMOers and aren't trying to be the leading edge of Monsanto or Dow's destruction. They seem to be taking factual and scientific approach.

Also I see no mention of a lawsuit. They are petitioning the FDA and USDA.

I think the motley fool reporter may have some fact problems.

Maybe The Motley Fool was just being a fool?

2,4-d is serious stuff and a lot of care should be exercised when it is used.
