Just curious what F generation the Darth Mater is by now. I like Prue and Black from Tula both, sounds like a tasty combination.

Why so late?

Well Dean a lot of it had to do with when my funds came in.And that would be March.And God knows nobody and I mean nobody in Hillsdale County had the supplies I needed.Heck I could not even get the stuff to mix a seed starting soil like Train has advised so many on.And all that Wally World had was the expensive Burpee and Northrup King stuff which are nice but with all I had planed I was not paying the price for it no matter how nice the Burpee and NK stuff was. So I went to Jackson with Sis and BIL.Same deal.In the end I wound up ordering a few growing supplies from Johnny's and the rest came from a greenhouse supply house in Lansing which was very reasonable even on shipping which is a good thing because I ended up getting Espoma seed starting mix.And plant tags .

By the time all was said and done I did not get anything started till the third week in March and life getting in the way did not help ether but everything should be ready by the time the first week in June rolls around.Drove me nuts too.As you know normally have plants almost ready to go by now.Oh and I got Sweet Beverly potted today.Bad part is I only have two seedlings that survived the mice .Will keep everyone updated.Just got Hoy and Terhune potted up too.

We have mousers too but they like to mess with the plants too.Anyway I got more potted up. today it was Santorini,Boxcar Willie,Dixiewine and Soldacki.

I am so behind due to two litters of feral kittens having a ball playing together. They made a terrible mess, but none of them got hurt.

That's very good to know!! Hope I do get a chance to grow it, as my son has really gotten interested in what I've grown this year, especially the tomato plants. This being my first year growing anything, I went with just 4 varieties, but my mission is to grow any and all tomatoes I can once to find out what mine and my family's favorite(s) are.
