My tomato plants are beginning to put off flowers and I am expecting fruit soon and I have several suckers starting to come up on the sides. I cut every so often, I have one rooted cherry tomato sucker in water ready for trade any day now to whoever sends a message first. These are NOT heirloom I do not think, the cherry tomatoes are incredibly sweet also. Great indeterminate plants.
If anyone wants any of these rooted suckers let me know, I'll pluck them off and begin rooting them. I'm going to do so this weekend anyway, first come first serve. I only expect to have about 6-8 perhaps. Just let me know please or they'll just have to suffer a dry death ![]() J |

Sarina, I ran into a fertilizer problem about 6 weeks into it, the high nitrogen stimulated growth but the blossoms quickly produced and fell off. A little bone meal and now I have deep green leaves and many flowers popping out. Just gave them a late night seaweed shower for the week. Hoping it does something good

The only fertilizer mine have had is a little slow release mixed in the garden soil and they're still ridiculously huge. I'm very pleased with their performance. Hope you have the same luck now that yours are recovering.

They're putting off deep green leaves and clusters of 8-14 blossoms (the cherries are) The big boy is putting off clusters of 4-6 blossoms. MANY suckers.
Want a cherry tomato sucker? It's rooted, I can wrap it, secure it, and send! |

I've got over a dozen tomato plants this year (including a few cherries), so thanks, but I'm set. I'm actually bringing half a dozen tomatoes to work tomorrow because so many turned red at the same time that I simply can't consume them all.

Any tomato seeds would be great. I'm looking mainly for heirlooms, unusual colors other than the traditional red unless you have a super amazing delicious red tomato. Or anything dwarf/bush type, heat tolerant preferred since I am in north Texas. Any pick and grow lettuce or spinach, or any quick to grow edibles.
