So the last two days have been a bit hard. We've moved all of our stuff into a storage unit and now I'm staying with friends plus I'm fighting to stay awake (but can't sleep). Anyway, yesterday I was all prepared to cull my entire garden as I couldn't find someone who wanted it. The lady who works for Montly Zoo and found a home for our two pets randomly came in after picking up the dog and offered to take the entire garden as hers was very late in getting started. I was grateful for not having to kill all my little plants. She also offered to take my herbs and current/strawberries and hold them for me until I could get a little place w/a deck and could care for them.
I am grateful for all those who've helped out with finding homes for my plants. My dad took my Rhubarb, Hops, and Elderberry and I gave the grapevine to a friend to enjoy. Dispite getting my entire life ripped from me in the past 48 hrs, I still feel completly blessed for the kindness of others. Anyway, just felt like posting this as I'm really tired and some what not thinking straight. Thanks for reading. PS Mod's, if this is in the wrong spot, please feel free to move.

I'm not sure what happened, but sounds like you need a hug & a prayer! Know someone has prayed for you!

I'm glad that you found "homes" for everything you hold dear. I hope things turn around quickly for you.

Thanks everyone.
![]() For a little background on my random post. We were trying to find a new place that was cheaper (ie. downsizing) and we kept getting denied for apartments. On Friday, we found out why. An apartment we lived in seven years ago stated that we had damaged the apartment and the repairs were to cost around $700. Well, we never knew about the bill and it went to collections. While we were there we had put in service request for the damage to be repaired but nothing happened. So at the last second we had move everything into a storage unit and are now trying to get this cleared up so we can find a place of our own. Thankfully a friend of ours is letting us stay with them for (hopefully) only a week or two. It all happened so fast that I almost didn't have time to think and was just on auto get-it-done mode as it took two days. I did have to leave my onions behind as they were already in the ground . Last night, before posting, I was so tired that I tried to get some sleep on the couch and couldn't. So I came to idig to look at some pictures of other's gardens (which are beautiful!) and instead typed the above. Anyway, thanks for reading again! BZ-one of the mods moved this to off-topic so I put it in the wrong place first!

And just an FYI for everyboby, because of this Tsu and I dont live together anymore. She is with our mother (whos currently unemployed) and staying with friends as said above. A friend of mine is letting me crash with her. So yeah, things are little hard right now for all of us. I was able to keep my 'orchard' but my blueberries and lavendar are gone.
Weve been thanking God everyday for the blessing of our congragations, there the ones taking care of us right now. Just had a funny thought. Hey Tsu, wouldnt it be funny if when you went to get your seeds our of storage andthe cold had caused them all the ones who need cold to germinate did? Haha.

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! I know housing is getting really rough to find, especially if you are not in the top income earners group. This is just crazy. I feel you won't be alone....there are too many bad things happening in this country all at once. There will be more to follow your path. Hang in there,

Thanks Rockpilefarmer. Things are starting to look up but we have to wait until Monday to offically make it so. Our mother is really running to find a job and here's hoping this one will work out. Anything will be better than nothing right now.
On the upside, if we get a place with a deck soon I could do a fall garden!!
