Just thought it would be fun to share some eye-catching uses for the punkins we like to grow or buy
These 2 cuties were mostly (I helped with the hot glue gun ) made by my 2 youngest children for a decorated pumpkin contest for 4-H.[IMG] [/IMG]![]() Get out the cameras guys and share your creations!

Thanks guys! I was really rather impressed myself with what kids can do if ya just 'let it flow'. The kids came up with the ideas themselves, I just put out what was available and let them decide how to do it with the understanding that pretty much nothing was impossible!
I wish you could have seen some of the others (forgot my camera at the show), a couple of boys ( 7yr old twins) from my Clover Bud group used the little jacks to make tow trucks towing cars! They used old toy tires, twine and a bunch of other stuff, very cute! The main rules for the contest is that they can't carve; but painting, glueing, adornments or whatever else they can think of is allowed. It's a fun way to 'do' pumpkins and still be able to eat them later!

www.extremepumpkins.com - not for the faint of heart! These are carved pumpkins, etc. Some of them could be classified as grownup stuff...

WEll it's about time I saw pics of the Munchkins pumpkin creations Jeannine.
I think sometimes we just get chatting and forget to share photos anymore. They did a wonderful job. And of course they had poultry themes Johno, I've been to Extreme Pumpkins before and yes, you are correct when you say that some of them are for adults only... The things you can do with jigsaws and dremels and such.
