in the same breath though one can say that the ability to purchase food is tied to many threads posted. and the food stamp issue.

gonna be hard to discuss straight up politics of food ( maybe ) as laws and such are tied to a politician,which is tied to a party affiliation and then .... off it goes !

just sayin' !

we'll just have to wait and see whats acceptable.

even at it's worst , this forum was still pretty mayberry. i posted here as most other forums i've looked at are actually downright vulgar at times and i just didn't want to be much of a party to it. context and intent rule.

seems to me that just because one gardens.. cooks and likes food doesn't mean they are so closed minded that POLITICS or DAILY EVENTS should be banished .. I enjoy the information I get here however there are sites where Politics and much more are available.. I however liked the people here so made it a point to check in several times a day .. guess that's over.. BTW many of the prepper websites have ALL that we discuss including gardening.. many of them are even MORE experienced in the gardening area and just because they are self reliant does NOT mean they all agree on everything..

the " professional " politics forums don't thrill me . i like well rounded sites with real people.

hobby sites i belong to have political forums but are mostly by like minded people and u don't get both sides.
