I have Amish Paste heirloom tomatoes that I started from seed. they have all been doing fine until a few days ago. I have a couple that are wilting and look like they are going to die. They had a few slightly yellowed branches toward the bottom, but nothing bad. I removed them. Today I went out and two of them look like they will die. Very wilted but still green.
What might this be? What can I do? |

water, water, water-IMO. It has been blistering hot in the Northeast without a lot of water. My area hasn't seen rain in 3 weeks. I put a soaker hose throughout my garden. All I have to do is hook up my garden hose to the soaker hose and walk away for about 2 hours. I water in the morning but you could also do it at night.
I don't think it is the blight but who knows this year. |

I have several verry large amish paste in my garden at the moment, they all have leaf curl, and usually look droopy like they could use water. The vines are thick and healthy, lots of leaves, pleanty of blooms, and a good amount of friut set. None of the other tomato varieties I am growing look like this, only the amish paste. No matter hoiw much I water, they still look like they need more. I am inclined to belive this is just how the plants of this variety look. I would say that as long as your not loosing fruit it sounds normal. Without pictures to compare, I can't say for sure that it's the same.
