Blatterkohl or Chou Cabu

This vegetable is allied to the cabbage family. Sow seed as for cabbage at intervals of about three weeks during May June and July. When a month old set out the plants in the garden in rows 3 feet apart leaving 2 feet between the plants. The leaves are esteemed as greens. One ounce of seed will produce about 3000 plants.
